Liz Davis Therapy does not accept insurance directly. As a private pay therapy business, clients must pay out of pocket via debit, credit, or HSA card. However, some insurance companies accept super-bills (like a receipt for what you paid for therapy services) and we can provide a super bill upon request via email which a client may submit to their insurance company. Some insurance companies will accept super bills and apply what you paid towards your deductible, or offer partial reimbursement.

In case of technical difficulties during a session, Liz Davis Therapy has a backup plan, usually switching to FaceTime if you have an iPhone, or a phone call, to ensure your session continues smoothly. This will be discussed in your initial setup. If the technological issue is on the end of Liz Davis Therapy and not the client, we will discount your session fee by deducting payment for any minutes missed in the session by subtracting the cost of the missed minutes from the total session fee.

As part of the intake paperwork that will be emailed to you and is to be completed online prior to the start of the first session, a Card Authorization Form is included where you can safely input your card information which is securely stored in the HIPAA-compliant Simple Practice software. Liz Davis Therapy accepts various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards, ensuring a seamless and convenient process for accessing therapy services. Liz Davis Therapy is private pay only and does not accept insurance. All session fees are charged to your card at midnight on the day of the session.
